7 random things about me.
I’ve been tagged, and so I must write 7 random things about myself. Or else… I don’t know. Tom didn’t specify what kind of horrors may come my way if I don’t.
So, to be safe… here they are:
- I believe that “the meaning of life” is different for everyone. For me, it’s being a Dad. Nothing else in my life is more important.
- For the past 9 or so years, I’ve been paid to have fun. And yes, I do realize how lucky I am to enjoy my occupation so much.
- After I graduated High School, I decided I wanted to be a family counselor. So I went to Great Lakes Christian College to study psychiatry. 2.5 years of that, I dropped out and jumped in to my career in IT.
- My favorite movie is L.A. Story. This is because I think Steve Martin is hilarious and love comedies, and because I’m a bit of a hopeless romantic and love love stories.
- I consider the biggest life changing event in my life to be when my best friend Jason died in a car accident in 2002.
- I lost my faith while attending Great Lakes Christian College. I don’t think the college caused me to lose my faith, but I do think it sped it up. Mostly from an amazing professor who strongly encouraged thinking for yourself.
- Besides computer related hobbies, my top hobby is probably cooking. But I require exact recipes and instructions. Phrases like: “until it’s done”, “add just enough”, “until it looks right”, drive me crazy.
Well, guess I have to tag now. I tag my brother and Regan. Since I know them and they have blogs. I’d tag Melody too, but her blog has a specific theme and should be read by all: my [sic] world.
